Tomm Van Dyke
Director
Tomm is a Harvard educated Landscape Architect with thirty years experience gained practising in Hong Kong, Asia and the USA. He is a talented designer with the ability to motivate staff to develop innovative and inspired solutions for any type of landscape project. Tomm has management responsibilities for ACLA’s offices in Hong Kong and China, with particular emphasis on design excellence and client care. Tomm has lead a wide range of landscape projects many of which have won design awards both locally and internationally. He directs and oversees all project design work produced in the office.
Robbert van Nouhuys
Director
Robbert Losecaat van Nouhuijs is an Urban Designer/ Landscape Architect by training with more than 30 years experience in planning and design of Recreation, Tourism and Residential/ Commercial Development projects in Asia and the Middle East. Robbert is currently Director for International Projects, presiding over selected strategic projects throughout the Asia region. As Project Director he has managed and co-ordinated large teams and successfully delivered international award winning, highly complex projects for private sector clients, local authorities and national governments.
Phyllis Cheung
Business Director - Landscape
Phyllis is a talented landscape architect with broad experience on a wide range of projects including the design of landscape and planting plan for commercial, industrial and residential use. She has developed strong communication and presentation skills through the participation of community projects and government meetings. Her strong graphic design backgrounds have assisted clients and community to visualize their visions and landscape solutions.
Jason Kuok
Associate – Landscape
Jason has over 18 years of experience in landscape design and planning ranging from large scale master planning to small scale private residential projects. Jason has strong planning, design and project management skills with extensive project experience in Hong Kong and Mainland China landscape developments including Urban design and Master Planning for public and private clients.
Xiao Li Su
Business Director - Landscape
Xiaoli Su is a landscape designer and has over 14 years experience in China. She has not only involved in design and project management in parks, residential, commercial and hotel developments. She is strong in planting and is extensive experience in botanical gardens.
Jonathan King
Associate Director – Landscape
Jonathan is a Chartered Landscape Architect with close to 20 years working experience in UK, Channel Islands, Malaysia and China. He has been a chartered member of the UK Landscape Institute since 2001. Jonathan is experienced at all levels of the design process ranging from conceptual through to construction documentation, individual project management to team and office management. He has led design teams completing many types of landscape projects in varying climates across Asia and Europe with project experience covering residential, commercial and retail plazas, streetscapes to parks, riverside landscapes, hotels, resorts and historic renovation projects. He currently leads the landscape architecture team in Shanghai.
Janice Wan
Associate Director – Planning & Urban Design
Janice is an experienced planner with solid experience in mainland China, Hong Kong and Australia. She had directly involved in large-scale planning studies and territorial planning projects. Her experience also encompasses multi-disciplinary planning exercises for private developments such as planning applications, planning reviews and rezoning proposals. Janice had co-authored a number of journal articles and international conference papers focusing on the costs and benefits during the process of urban redevelopment and rehabilitation.
Mark Ng
Technical Director
Mark has over 25 years working experience on a wide range of projects in Hong Kong and Australia. He has worked on a variety of landscape projects both for government departments and private developers with projects including, recreational, residential, commercial, resort, landscape planning, compensatory open spaces and infrastructure developments. He is experienced in landscape design (hardworks and softworks), contract document preparation, contract administration, periodic supervision during construction and preparation/ submission of Self-certificate of Compliance for Tree Preservation and Landscape Proposals.
Alan Liang
Business Director
Alan Liang is a professional in managing landscape projects. He specialises in coordinating design stage tasks and managing subsequent tender and construction phase activities. He has over 10 years in experience in contract administration and budget control for public projects and private development. His activities at ACLA focus on liaison with consultants, government departments, major developers and contractors as well as design coordination, administration and claims issues, monitoring programmes and quality control on site.
Michael Koks
Associate Director – Urban Design & Landscape
Michael has a Master and Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture. He is currently leads the Master Planning and Urban Design Team in our Vietnam office. His 5 years professional experience covers projects in China, Hong Kong, U.A.E. and Vietnam. focus on project management and team coordination as well conceptual design. He is a talented upcoming designer and successfully motivates, stimulates and supports team members to deliver high quality work with an integrated and sustainable approach to design and development.
